Tour of Flanders and Paris-Roubaix
The Tour of Flanders (Dutch: Ronde van Vlaanderen), also known as De Ronde ("The Tour"), is the most important road cycling race held in Belgium, always on the first Sunday of April. It is part of the UCI World Tour and organized by Flanders Classics. The weekend after we have another monument, Paris-Roubaix, also referred to as the "Hell of the North". This 10-day trip let's you experience them both.
Week schedule
Saturday
We will be there to pick you up at Brussels Airport - Transfer to hotel - check-in in the Radisson Blue in Hasselt, freshen up, briefing, assembly of your (rental) bikes by our mechanic- free afternoon - joint dinner in the hotel
Sunday
We leave the hotel after breakfast and head out to Oudenaarde for race day– after our bus ride we will move to our VIP village in the race to see the riders pass 3 times - After the race we will have a light dinner on the bus driving back to the hotel
Monday
Wake up at 8am for breakfast - We expect everybody in riding gear at 10am - group ride towards the Amstel Gold area (80k ride) - stop for lunch - fresh up time in the hotel -dinner at 8pm - time to get a drink in the city
Tuesday
Wake up at 7 am - breakfast - assembly at the bus at 8 am - ride to the starting point of the ride, briefing in the bus - +/- 120km ride on the roads of the Tour of Flanders – return to the bus, snacks and drinks provided in the bus - ride to the hotel - joint dinner in Hasselt
Wednesday
Wake up at 8 am - breakfast - assembly at 10 am - ride to the Scheldeprijs - +/- 80km ride along side the canal to Schoten (Antwerp area) – watch the race - assembly at the bus - snacks and drinks provided in the bus - ride to the hotel - Dinner
Thursday
Time to sleep in- breakfast - assembly at the bus at 10 am - visit to a unique cycling museum – lunch at the Spork, a Belgian beer cafe - back to the hotel – evening ride at the Zolder race circuit - free evening
Friday
Recovery day in the morning – hotel check-out - visit to a local brewery in the afternoon – transfer to hotel in Kortrijk– Dinner - free evening
Saturday
Early departure towards Roubaix to the start of the cyclosportive - choice of three distances to ride the cobblestones and the Vélodrome in Roubaix - back to the hotel in the afternoon - dinner and free evening
Sunday
Race day - Checkout in the hotel - we leave around 10am towards Roubaix area to experience the race - after the finish we leave for Brussels for a joint dinner and evening visit of the city
Monday
Saying goodbye and returning home
